Improvement in the diagnostic procedures makes it possible to get the diagnosis of the liver cyst before operation, so every effort should be made to confirm the mass which was suspected as that kind of the disease.

23 out of the 27 total cases were developed in female and 19 were attacked after their age 53. The ratio between solitary cyst and multiple cysts showed no significant difference. 13 were found at the right lobe and 9 had their mass at both lobes.
Liver function test showed normal limits in nearly all of the cases and their chief complaints were mass at upper portion of the abdomen, distention and discomfortness at epigastrium and jaundice in several cases.
